You can expect:
During this 1 day course, you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations,
including:
- staying safe
- managing an unresponsive casualty
- performing CPR
- using a defib
- putting someone in the recovery position
- dealing with someone choking
- seizures, burns
- recognising shock
- dressing wounds and bleeding
- top tips for minor injuries
The course is suitable for:
Anyone who wants to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations.
It's ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in a workplace or in voluntary and community settings.

First Aid booklet, e-certificate, resources and refreshments throughout the day.
Certificate:
Valid for 3 years. Accreditation achieved through Qualsafe Awards, the qualification is Ofqual regulated.

Exceeds HSE requirements for low risk environments
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.
